Donation and contribution to the Rotary 100th Anniversary Gala
Dear Dave
Thank you so much for donating an auction item to the Rotary Club of Edmonton’s 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner on Saturday, April 23rd. Your gift will help our Rotary Club support the YMCA of Northern Alberta and the Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton with a $100,000 Centennial Legacy Project. Your gift will help to ensure that up to one thousand vulnerable children, youth and families in our community have access to the low-fee and/or no-fee programming that supports positive personal and family development at the YMCA Family Resource Centre. Because of you, hundreds of children and youth at the McCauley Centre have a safe place to be between school and home, as well as supportive mentor relationships.
This year, your generosity helped our club raise in excess of $80,000 at the gala dinner. Together, we are making a difference to help those most in need in the heart of our city.
Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self.” Your philanthropy has enabled us to hold true to this statement by supporting our local community in an impactful way. Thank you for your continued support of the Rotary Club of Edmonton.
If you requested a taxable receipt with your donation, it will be distributed by the Rotary Club of Edmonton prior to 2016 tax year deadlines.
Sincerely,
Gord
